Telkomsel, Indonesia’s largest mobile operator, has signed a memorandum of understanding with China Telecom Global to strengthen cooperation in enterprise digital services. The Telkomsel and China Telecom Global partnership was formalised during the 2025 MWC Shanghai event, with both companies agreeing to explore joint solutions aimed at business customers operating across borders.
The MoU covers several areas of collaboration, including managed enterprise solutions, cross-border connectivity, cloud services and digital infrastructure. Through this agreement, the two operators intend to combine their respective network capabilities and service portfolios to better serve multinational enterprises with operations spanning Southeast Asia and China.
Enterprise Digital Services at the Core
Nugroho, Telkomsel’s Vice President of Enterprise Business Development, said the partnership reflects the company’s strategy to go beyond traditional connectivity and offer integrated digital services to enterprise customers. The collaboration with China Telecom Global is expected to enable Telkomsel to deliver more comprehensive managed enterprise solutions, particularly for businesses that require seamless cross-border connectivity between Indonesia and China.
