Vodafone’s Global Enterprise unit has acquired Reading-based ICT consultancy Bluefish Communications for 

£3.14m to build up its professional services business.

Bluefish will form the basis ofr a new UCC practice within the Global Enterprise business – which specialises in 
managing comms for Vodafone’s larger, multinational customers – providing infrastrucure and comms audits, advice on implementing joint mobile, fixed-line and IT comms strategies, and reseller and vendor management.
Naturally, it will also focus heavily on promoting collaboration services, such as video-conferencing and presence solutions, into large enterprise customers.
Vodafone Global Enterprise CEO Nick Jeffery said the acquisition would “further develop our expertise in UC and broaden the range of services we can offer to our multinational customers.”
“Having the right information at the right time, in the right palce, has never been more important to business 
success and this acquisition will enhance our ability to advise multinationals on how to maximise value from their communications,” he added.
