Mobile phone network Vodafone has started retailing the world’s first handset to run Android ‘Ice Cream Sandwich’ 4.0 – in the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, with a cost attached of £299 and a monthly fee of £26.

Vodafone reportedly delayed the selling of the Galaxy Nexus due to a bug discovered, although no details have been made public about this issue.
The Samsung Galaxy Nexus arrives with a 4.65-inch Super AMOLED screen, running from a dual core 1.2GHz processor, with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, a 5 megapixel camera that is capable of 1080p video camera and NFC capabilities.Vodafone is carrying the Samsung Galaxy Nexus on contracts with 100 minutes, a 500 text message bundle and a 250MB data allowance – or for £41 a month, with no cost for the device, with 1200 minutes, unlimited text messages and a 750MB data bundle.
