e& Carrier & Wholesale Services (C&WS), the global wholesale branch of the e& technology group, has entered into a strategic agreement with Globe, a leading telecommunications operator in the Philippines. This collaboration designates e& as the preferred international voice partner for Globe, aiming to manage and secure the company’s international voice traffic. By establishing this connection, e& offers global operators a resilient and highly secure gateway tailored for voice exchanges directed toward the Globe network.

Integrating Advanced Network Defense Systems

The joint effort emphasizes the importance of network security and service reliability. It incorporates real-time monitoring and AI-enabled fraud detection into the routing process. The infrastructure relies heavily on the global carrier network of e&, utilizing sophisticated tools like SIM-box detection, a dedicated voice firewall, and advanced analytics. These protective measures are designed to ensure revenue safety and maintain the integrity of communication routes by actively minimizing fraudulent activities.

Executive Perspectives on the Strategic Alignment

Nabil Baccouche, Group Chief Carrier & Wholesale Officer at e&, highlighted that the alignment unites the extensive market reach of Globe with the established network capabilities and security framework of e&. Baccouche stated that the collaboration grants carrier partners an efficient pathway to the Globe network, fortified by continuous oversight and AI-enabled fraud detection. He further noted that as the demands surrounding international voice traffic evolve, this partnership will assist Globe in refining service quality, defending data flow, and facilitating subsequent growth.

Darius Delgado, Chief Commercial Officer at Globe, remarked that the alliance functions as a notable advancement for the telecommunications operator in solidifying its international operations. According to Delgado, engaging with a global technology entity like e& empowers Globe to elevate service standards, augment defenses against fraud, and offer improved utility to their international carrier partners. He concluded that the shared objective is to construct a more resilient and forward-looking ecosystem for international communication pathways.

Operational Advantages for Carrier Partners

The integration of Globe’s widespread influence within the Philippine market and the robust global carrier network provided by e& streamlines the routing process for international operators. Organizations connecting through this gateway will gain access to intelligent routing capabilities, enhanced traffic transparency, and unified service management. By relying on a trusted international voice partner, operators are positioned to navigate the complexities of global telecommunications with heightened efficiency.
