Türk Telekom and Ericsson have signed a strategic research collaboration to advance 6G innovation in Türkiye.
The agreement was formalized at the Mobile World Congress 2026 that was held in Barcelona, with participation from Turkish government officials and Ericsson leadership.
The focus areas of the partnership shall revolve around shaping emerging 6G standards, enhancing network reliability, and also driving next-generation connectivity benchmarks across Türkiye.
As far as the scope of collaboration is concerned, it includes national and international R&D projects and bilateral research initiatives along with scientific publications on transformative 6G technologies.
