Informatica Corporation, the world’s number one independent provider of data integration software, has expanding its distributor relationship with Sonata Software in India to provide PowerCenter Express, a downloadable offering that economically addresses the entry-level data integration needs of enterprise departments and small to mid-sized companies.

Sonata Software, an IT consulting and software services provider, has been a distributor of Informatica data integration solutions in India since 2007. It now will offer in India, Informatica’s PowerCenter Express, a solution specifically designed to meet the needs of departmental projects and mid-market companies.

Powered by the Informatica Vibe virtual data machine, PowerCenter Express extends the proven Informatica PowerCenter portfolio to provide customers with a clear growth path from entry-level to enterprise-class data integration capabilities. It enables small to mid-sized businesses or departments within larger enterprises to easily get started with a fit-for-purpose, high-quality data integration solution, enabling them to scale to an enterprise-class platform when required.

Informatica PowerCenter Express is modeled after a proven, enterprise-level solution and comes ready with prepackaged integration to commonly used data sources. It has all the ETL functionalities of PowerCenter Enterprise editions but is right-sized for volumes of smaller data integration projects and offers unparalleled ease-of-use with a no-coding graphical user interface. With PowerCenter Express, companies and organizations can quickly and cost-effectively incorporate customized data integration capabilities into daily business practices to unleash the potential of their data.
