Comba telecom signs multi-million usd deal with leading indian telecom operator

Comba Telecom Systems Holdings Limited (“Comba Telecom” or “the Group”, Hong Kong stock code: 2342), a global leading wireless solutions provider, has signed a major agreement with a leading Indian telecom operator. Comba Telecom agreed to supply RF equipment which will be deployed in the telecom operator’s mobile networks across India.

With the second largest population in the world, India has a huge market in smartphone utilization. The number of smartphone users in the country is expected to reach 299.24 million in 2017 and 442.5 million by 20201. Smartphones are growingly popular among consumers and their users are also more and more demanding a high-speed and high-capacity network. Hence, operators and enterprises in India are working hard on improving wireless connectivity across the country to meet end users’ needs.

Under the agreement, Comba Telecom will be the major supplier of RF passive accessories to its partner to enhance its mobile network in the country. In addition, a dedicated team from Comba Telecom will provide on-site training, troubleshooting and technical support to assure its networks warrant their strong position in the market. The multi-year cooperation contract is worth millions of US dollars.
