MACH, the leading provider of cloud-based managed communication services, today announced that it will be demonstrating its new state-of- the-art, roaming business management tool, called MACH Unity, to its customers at the GSMA’s 81st Billing and Accounting Roaming Group (BARG) conference in Dubai on 19th – 21st March 2013.

MACH Unity will become the central point from which operators can manage their entire wholesale roaming business.

Initially launched to manage MACH’s GSM Roaming Data Clearing service, the Unity portal provides a powerful and convenient location for operators to ensure their roaming business is running effectively. Unity allows operators to view and manage their partners and contacts, analyze transactions and subscriber behaviour, drill into the processing of transaction records and manage the MACH configuration for tariffs, network settings and partners.

As a second phase, Unity will provide complete visibility and control for all of MACH’s managed service business lines, allowing operators to drill down to a partner and service level to understand the performance of their wholesale business. As part of MACH’s commitment to delivering unified cloud services, Unity will bring together all of MACH’s existing reporting and control functionality, such as MACH Smart and the Roaming Management System, into one central location for the complete management of a customer’s wholesale roaming business. Unity will also provide a self-care facility liberating operators to manage their business.
Nick Wennekers, Director, Online Business Management Solutions, MACH, commented: “We are hugely excited to be introducing Unity to our customers at BARG. It is at the heart of our push to provide transparent, next-generation services for our customers; it will provide a huge amount of proactive information in one place, such as how traffic is flowing across their network and which partners are bringing in the most revenue. With falling ARPUs and greater competition in the telecoms industry, it’s more essential than ever that operators have complete visibility and fine-tuned control of their roaming business. Unity will give our customers full visibility into the complete setup, status and transaction data of their services and partners, all integrated into one single environment to help them manage their businesses in a coherent and unified manner. By providing powerful automation, and ultimately self-service options, we expect Unity to hugely impact customer satisfaction.”
Unity is part of MACH’s M Vision portfolio which combines the MACH Applied Business Intelligence (ABI) platform with its comprehensive partner management capabilities.
M Vision provides access to operational data as well as a range of reporting and analysis tools to integrate the critical components of business intelligence, such as reporting, monitoring/alerts, analytics and forecasting. The ABI solutions provide a suite of complementary tools to help operators focus on turning data into information, and information into action.
