As Inter Venezuela Chooses Harmonic, the latter’s fiber solutions help Inter Venezuela to rollout carrier-grade mobile backhaul service as a cost-efficient option to the erstwhile dedicated cellular links, hence in a way unlocking new revenue opportunities as the regional mobile network operators prepare themselves for the forthcoming 5G densification.

“The novel XGS-PON mobile backhaul service marks a major step forward supporting the mobile networks evolution in Venezuela,” says the CEO of Inter Venezuela, Marco Baptista. “With fiber solution from Harmonic, we can in a way effectively scale our infrastructure and offer mobile network operators with certain agile backhaul option.
