Qtel and Commercialbank of Qatar Join Together to Offer Mobile Payments

Qtel and Commercialbank of Qatar today signed a new agreement that will enable customers to make Qtel payments and order top-ups via the innovative CBQ Mobile Banking facility.

Through the agreement, customers who access the free downloadable mobile banking application can enjoy secure and convenient payment solutions for Qtel services. They will be able to buy a full range of Top-Ups, including Hala, Dawli, Ebhar and Broadband top-up vouchers, which can be downloaded instantly to their mobile phone.
Customers will also be able to pay Qtel bills, and check to see which bills have been paid, and which are still outstanding, by accessing the mobile application.

Today’s agreement extends that support. Commercialbank customers can now pay their Qtel bills, check their accounts, and download top-ups securely and easily using their mobile phones.”
Commercialbank’s Mobile Banking Service gives customers instant connectivity to accounts anywhere, anytime using the browser on their mobile devices. The addition of Qtel payments means that customers can manage an even broader range of services than ever before.
